THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on September 12 for Roy Gordon Trindall who died peacefully at home on September 28 after a brave fight against illness aged 81 years.

Mourners were, Barry and Liz, Kevin and Yvonne, Stephen and Sandy, Phillip and Sharon, Christopher and Christine (sons and daughter-in-laws), Martin, Phillip, Ross and Laura, Aaron and Samantha, Ashley and Kerry, Jason, Rebecca, Matthew, Amy, James and Emma (grandchildren and partners), Mavis and Jack Beamish, Audrey and Ivan Curtis, Maureen, Bernadine and Jefferson Curtis, Peter and Peggy Curtis, Ron and Daphne Jude, Steven and Lyn, Tony, Sharon and Sherrie, David Leake, Mr and Mrs M Brown, Angela Badham-Davies, Pamela Whall, Annette Storey, Pat and John Horrex, George and Ada Quadling, Thelma and John Prue, Lesley and Grant Westaby, Pam Cross, Dot Thompson, George and Alan Hoggett, Geoff Moore, Trevor Phelps, Richard and Julian Cattermole, Beverly Heffer, Louise Crisp and Denise Sinclair.
Unfortunately unable to attend: sister Ruby, brother Charlie and sister-in-law Tilly.
The family of Roy would like to thank relatives and friends for their expressions of sympathy and donations for Palliative Care East which are still being accepted by Anglia Co-operative Funerals.
