THE funeral service took place at Holy Trinity Church, Gisleham, on October 17, for Raymond Sidney Ernest Colby, who died suddenly, on October 4, aged 66.

THE funeral service took place at Holy Trinity Church, Gisleham, on October 17, for Raymond Sidney Ernest Colby, who died suddenly, on October 4, aged 66.

Also present were many friends, too numerous to mention by name, but who gave great comfort to the family.

Margaret, Hayley and Martin wish to thank all family, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy, beautiful flowers and donations for Papworth Hospital which are still being received at Anglia Co-op Funerals, Pakefield. Special thanks to Dr Bigg and Dr Machin (Victoria Road), Frances and Terry and the paramedics who tried so hard to save Ray.

Many thanks to the Rev Derek Cowie for the lovely service, Lorraine at Anglia Co-op for all her help and kindness at this difficult time, and all the staff at the Sailors' Home for the lovely buffet.
