THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium, on Friday, October 9, for Roy Saunders, of Estherene House, Lowestoft, who died on September 26, aged 81.

THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium, on Friday, October 9, for Roy Saunders, of Estherene House, Lowestoft, who died on September 26, aged 81.

The Rev Joan Oddy officiated.

Mourners were: Nieces and nephews - Maureen Phillips, Joan Newbery, Maureen Breach and Jean Crickmore, Brian Saunders and wife Sandra, Jack Saunders, David and Peter Holland. great nieces and nephews - Linda Wilson, Graham and Kevin Phillips, Stephen and Colin Newbery, Andrew Breach and wife Tova, Bradley Beadon.

Friends attending were: Mr Keith Andrews and Pearl Woolner, Bill Baker and Pam, Charles and Goldie Holland, Bob and Diane Quantrill, Roy and Sheila Grimmer, Mr Leonard Smith, Mrs Margaret Pearson, Mrs Yvonne Titterington from Estherene House.

Family members unavoidably absent were: Mrs Julie Wicks, Mr Michael Breach, Mrs Hayley Quarrell, Mrs Karen Newbery.

The family wish to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy, beautiful floral tributes and donations for Alzheimer's Society which are still being accepted c/o Critoph & Crowe, 49-55 Lorne Park Road, Lowestoft, NR33 0RB.

Special thanks to the management and staff of Estherene House for their kindness and care of Roy during his time with them.
