THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on February 1 for Mr Ronald Ward of Orford Drive, Oulton Broad who died on January 18, aged 91.

The Rev Robert Soanes officiated.
Mourners were: Malcolm and Christine Ward, Neil and Jean Ward, Amy Smith, Leila Ward, Andrew McInnes, Norman Garrod, Simon Daniels, Henry Smith, Francis and Colin Smith, Eddie Symonds, Joan and Fred Ayres, Mrs J Oldman, Mr and Mrs R Merritt, Lyn Merritt, Moira Gilmartin, Rodney Durrant, Barbara Dell, Owen and Hazel Rogers, Brian and Sheila Hunter, B Kirby, R Bellham, Ailya Barron.
Unavoidably absent were: Colin and Esme Ward.

To granddad, thank you for all the happy childhood memories! from your loving granddaughters Amy and Leila. Ron Ward, thank you for the many years and for the help and fun over the years and through laughter, sadness and the tears, God has got many rooms in his big mansion, until we all meet up again, I do not know where, but we will meet again some sunny day, rest in peace, Andrew.
