THE funeral service took place at The Chapel of Rest, Chabannais (France) followed by a committal service at Limoges Crematorium on April 11 of Ronald Arthur Goddard of Saulgond, France (formally of Gisleham) who died suddenly on April 6 aged 74.

THE funeral service took place at The Chapel of Rest, Chabannais (France) followed by a committal service at Limoges Crematorium on April 11 of Ronald Arthur Goddard of Saulgond, France (formally of Gisleham) who died suddenly on April 6 aged 74.

Capt N J Gillibrand officiated.

Immediate family mourners were: devoted wife and friend Sheila, loving daughter Trina and grandson Bradley Ronnie.

Other family members present included: Jan, Lee and Lisa (also representing brother Eddie Goddard), Doris Walker, Sue Blowers, Sharon and Richard Aldis.

Amongst close friends present were: John and Lynn, Tony and Jane Rand and family, William and Celine, Wilf and Sarah, Annie, Pete, Jon Dobson.

There were many floral tributes from family and friends in the UK, France and Malta including Julie Slater and family, Steven Cherry, Albert and Louise King.

Sheila and Trina would like to thank friends and family back in the UK and in France for their cards of condolence and very kind support during this difficult time.
