THE funeral service took place at St Peter's Church, Carlton Colville and was then followed by burial in Carlton Colville Cemetery on Thursday, April 2 of Stephen Ward, who died at his home in Carlton Colville on March 25, aged 67.

The Rev J Bishop officiated.
Mourners were: Mary Ward (wife), Sean and Debbie (son and partner), Gary and Pauline (son and daughter-in-law), Darren Caireen (son and ex-partner) and grandchildren, Matthew, Stacey, Claire Scott and Shanai.
The church overflowed with family, friends and colleagues with well over 200 people attending.

Mrs Ward and family would like to thank all relatives for their help and support, messages of sympathy and for their beautiful floral tributes received. Special thanks to the Rev J Bishop, Dr K Bouch, Dr J Mallion, the palliative care team and District Nurse Bronwen Gosling.
