THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on March 18 for William Kenneth (Ken) Bester of Lowestoft who died on March 10 aged 89.Canon Brian Wisken officiated.

Mourners were: Keith Bester, Daphne Bester, Martin Bester, Teresa Bester, Julie Smith, Kerry Bester, Natalie Bester, Lauren Bester, Les Barnard, Jen Barnard, David Garner, Rose Marie Garner, Dawn Ablett, Ann Casely, Mick Secker, Wendy Secker, friends and neighbours from Cranesbill Road and Bluebell Close, friends from Lowestoft Railway Bowls Club.
The family of the late Mr Ken Bester wish to thank all relatives and friends for their many kind expressions of sympathy and donations received. Donations for the British Diabetic Association are still being accepted c/o R Rivett Ltd, 15 Carlton Road, Lowestoft, NR33 0RU.
