THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium of William Thomas Stone, of Fairfield Road, Oulton Broad, who died suddenly on March 23, aged 87, at the James Paget Hospital.

The Rev Helen Jary officiated.
Mourners were: Edna Stone (wife), Karen Stone (daughter), Frank and Bunty Stone (cousin and wife), Philip Bell (nephew), David and Susan Meadows (nephew and wife), Carol Pitts and Paul Meadows (nephew's children), Tom, Peter and Jeremy Stone (cousin and sons), Daphne Pigney (aunt's sister), Clive Bland (son of Stan and Dot Bland), Dot Potter and Glenda (sister and niece of Jane Land), Peggy Coe (family friend), Pat Freeman (friend), Roy Tonkes and Jenny Skelly (neighbours), John and Margaret Bullen (neighbours), Shirley and Maurice Etheridge (neighbours), Derek Parr (neighbour) and work colleagues.
