THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on October 7, for Betty Ballard, who died at the James Paget Hospital on September 25.

Family mourners were: Margaret and Bill Atkins (daughter and son-in-law), Glenys Carter (daughter), John Ballard (son), Steven Walker (grandson), Simon and Sue Walker (grandson and wife), Jenna Ballard (granddaughter), Karma Walker (great granddaughter), Caisha and Jonathan (great granddaughter and partner), Miles Walker-Patterson (great great grandson).
Other mourners were: Pam McAleese, Lyn Ballard, Julie Ballard, Karen Skinner, Wendy Sneddon, Sam and Maureen Moore, Marilyn and Clive Patterson, David Ellis.
The family would like to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy and support given while mum was ill.
