THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on June 15 for Charlotte Mary Bucknole who died at Squirrel Lodge Care Home, Pakefield on June 8 aged 105.

THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on June 15 for Charlotte Mary Bucknole who died at Squirrel Lodge Care Home, Pakefield on June 8 aged 105.

Chief mourners were Ethel Berry (niece), Jean Bhola (niece), David Bhola (great nephew), Kathryn Bhola (great niece), John and Kathy Crisp (great nephew and his wife), Ruth Daines (niece), Mary McNamara (niece), Janet Moore (niece), Angela and Roy Saunders (dear friends), George Ward and Brenda (nephew and his partner), Peter Ward (nephew) and family, Valerie Ward (niece).

Unable to attend were Donald Clarke (nephew) and family, Peter and Linda Crisp (great nephew and his wife), Michael Bhola (great nephew) and family and Vera Williams (niece).

Friends from Squirrel Lodge, the Links Wednesday Warriors Club, Harry Chamberlain Court Day Centre and former neighbours from Maidstone Road also attended along with many other people whom Mary was pleased to think of, and call, friends.

The service was conducted by Mrs Sheila Culham and David Bhola played the organ. Both are especially thanked.

The family would like to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy, beautiful floral tributes and donations received. Donations for McMillan Nurses at James Paget University Hospital may still be sent to Anglia Co-operative Funeral Services, Police Station Road, Lowestoft, NR32 1NY. Cheques should be made payable to James Paget UNHS Foundation Trust and endorsed on the reverse “Palliative Care Endowment”.

Special thanks also to all at Squirrel Lodge for the loving care shown to Mary during her time there and also to all at Anglia Co-operative Funerals for their sympathetic help and assistance at this sad time.

Will all please accept this as the only, but most sincere acknowledgment.
