THE funeral service took place at Kirkley Cemetery Chapel, followed by burial in the cemetery for Cissie Vera Martin, of Lowestoft, who died on December 12, aged 88.

The Rev Roy Wormald officiated.

Mourners were, Ann and John Youngman (daughter and son-in-law), Susan and David Stebbings (daughter and son-in-law), Tracy and Steve Moyse (granddaughter and husband), David Stebbings (grandson), Mark Stebbings and Justine (grandson and partner), Barry and Susan Stebbings (grandson and wife), Marlene Sayer, James Sayer and Jayne, Mr and Mrs W Tibbenham, David and Valerie Dalley, Mr and Mrs J Taylor, Mr and Mrs E Martin, Mr and Mrs T Bradley, Jo Freeman, Mrs Jane Haverson, Mrs M Stebbings, Mrs G Craig, Yvonne Titterington, Bev Chaplin. Unable to attend were: Ruby Maxted, Bob Sayer, Valerie Sayer. Jane Tighe, Margaret and Ota Newman, Mrs M Wall.

In loving memory of a dear mum, dearest mum, we never had a chance to say goodbye, but in my heart you will always stay, your broken hearted daughter Susan and son-in-law David. In loving memory to a dear nan, always in our thoughts, love Tracy and Steve. To nanny, always in our thoughts, sweet dreams, love from David, Danielle and Mathew. Always in our hearts nan, missing you always, with all our love Mark, Justine, Oskar, Harvey and Lewis. Always in our hearts dear nanny, sadly missed forever in our thoughts, love from Barry, Susan, Shannon and Leah. Many other tributes were received.

The family wishes to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy and beautiful floral tributes received. Special thanks to all at Estherene House for their care and kindness to mum, to Bridge Road Surgery, especially Dr Lloyd, to Rev Wormald for a comforting service. Will all please accept this as the only but most sincere acknowledgment.
