THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on Thursday, August 7, for Dulcie Kathleen Boon, of Lowestoft, who died on July 26, aged 89.

The Rev Geoff Wilson officiated.

THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on Thursday, August 7, for Dulcie Kathleen Boon, of Lowestoft, who died on July 26, aged 89.

Mourners were, Husband Ted, Val and John Catchpole, Shirley and Robin Hoad, Gill and Maurice Read, Trevor and Jeanette Boon, Sharon, Kevin, Karl, Robert and Amy Nichols, Shaun and Lorraine Catchpole, Terry, Richelle and Zac Read, Tracey, Trevor and Joshua Williamson, Graeme, Grainne and Ceara Hoad, Chris Hoad, Andrew, Melissa and Oliver Read, Mrs Jacqueline Crawford, Mrs Ivy Hart, Mrs Margaret Whall, Reg Boon and Rena.

Numerous family and friends also attended the service, too many to mention by name.

Floral Tributes were: In loving memory of a cherished wife, thank you for 67 wonderful years, your pain ahs ceased and you are at peace, forever in my thoughts, your loving husband Ted. In loving memory of Mum, will always be missed by your children and in laws. In loving memory of a dear nan, you will be greatly missed by us all, you were a wonderful nan, rest In peace from grandchildren and husbands and wives. Loving and fond memories of a dear great gran, we will always remember your lovely smile from great grandchildren and great great grandson.

The family wishes to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expression of sympathy. Beautiful floral tributes and donations still being accepted for Cancer Research UK and Hospice in the Home (all cheques payable to Critoph & Crowe Charity Acc), c/o Critoph & Crowe, 49-55 Lorne Park Road, Lowestoft, NR33 0RB. The family wish to extend special thanks to One to One Care, district nurses, doctors and Hayden's Chemist, High Street for all the wonderful care given to Dulcie.
