THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on Monday, June 2, for Doris Margaret Preece, of Lowestoft, who died on who died on May 21, aged 80.

THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on Monday, June 2, for Doris Margaret Preece, of Lowestoft, who died on who died on May 21, aged 80.

The Rev Marilyn Zipfel officiated.

Mourners were Ken Preece (husband), Shan and Philip Pettifer (daughter and son-in-law), Claire and Anthony Warring, Louise Pettifer and David Wicks, Thomas Pettifer (grandchildren), Joan (sister) and John Swallow, Charles (brother) and Maureen Gooch, Karen and Pete Higgins, Tracey Underwood, Mark and Claire Swallow, Julian Gooch, Nicola Gooch, Vera Tuttle, Diane Smith, Betty and Bernard Hitter, Diane and Michael Thorpe, Margaret Newson, Barbara Batley, Olive and Charlie Claxton, Audrey and Billy Hitter and many more also attended.

Funeral arrangements were by R Rivett Ltd, 15 Carlton Road, Lowestoft NR33 0RU.

Mr Kenneth Preece and family wish to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy, beautiful floral tributes and donations received.
