THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on July 29 for Doreen Sparkes of Belmont Gardens, Lowestoft who died suddenly but peacefully at home on July 15, aged 70.

THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on July 29 for Doreen Sparkes of Belmont Gardens, Lowestoft who died suddenly but peacefully at home on July 15, aged 70.

Gerda Buckley officiated.

Mourners were: Arthur Sparkes (husband), Lillian Sparkes (sister-in-law), Jennifer Sparkes (brother-in-laws wife), Peter, Carol, Nicola, Joanne, Catherine and Sarah Brown (nephew, wife and family), Bernadette Driscoll and Bill (niece and partner), Janet and John Saunders, Joanna and Richard Harper, Sharon and Miles with Imogen, Stewart and Carly Saunders, Margaret and Frank Patterson, Mick and Cindy Patterson, Iris and Derek Forster, Sue Turner, Evelyn and Len Read, Tom and Joan Handley, Joan and John Peck, Russsell Burgess, Michael White, Ann Duckworth with Hannah and Daniel.

Arthur wishes to thank all relatives, neighbours and friends for the expressions and cards of sympathy, beautiful floral tributes and donations for the Donkey Sanctuary, Sidmouth, Devon (please make cheques payable to ARCS Limited),which are still being received by Anglia Co-Operative Funerals, Police Station Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR32 1NY, 01502-583637, whom the family would like to express their thanks for the very professional and sympathetic handling of all the funeral arrangements.
