THE funeral service took place at St Mary's Church, Haddiscoe on Thursday, June 19, of Ethel Edith Flaxman, formerly of Haddiscoe, who died at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on June 5, aged 95.

THE funeral service took place at St Mary's Church, Haddiscoe on Thursday, June 19, of Ethel Edith Flaxman, formerly of Haddiscoe, who died at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on June 5, aged 95.

Mourners were, Josephine and Peter (daughter and son-in-law), Stanley and Linda (grandson), Alvin and Janet (grandson), Louise and Mark (granddaughter), Barry Howlett (great grandson also representing Clare, and great grandchildren Brooke and Ryan Howlett), Matthew Howlett (great grandson), Georgina Howlett (great granddaughter also representing Louis (great grandson)), Samantha Ellis (great granddaughter), Christopher Ellis (great grandson), Mrs Freda Spencer and Mrs Dorothy Smith (sisters), Ruby Newson and Norman Newson (sister and brother-in-law), Francis and Margaret Gurney-Smith (nephew), Margaret and David Hodds (niece), Elizabeth Jones (niece), Mr and Mrs A Clutten, Nancy Newson, Mr and Mrs G Ford, Mr Sidney Howlett, Jane Watson (Paul, Tony and Sharon), Pat Watson, Stanley Ford, Mr D Rusted, Mrs Grace Hembling, Diana and Raymond Smith.

Unable to attend were: Shirley and Trevor (grandson), Paul Ellis (great grandson), Muriel (niece) and Roger Newson.
