THE funeral service took place Kirkley Cemetery Chapel on July 27, followed by burial in the cemetery for Elizabeth Jillings, of Blackheath Road, Lowestoft, who died on July 17, aged 77.

THE funeral service took place Kirkley Cemetery Chapel on July 27, followed by burial in the cemetery for Elizabeth Jillings, of Blackheath Road, Lowestoft, who died on July 17, aged 77.

The Rev Roy Wormald officiated.

Mourners were: Alan Jillings (husband), Valerie and Paul Walker (daughter and son-in-law), Michael and Ann Jillings (son and daughter-in-law), William and Christopher Jillings (grandsons), Jack and Barbara Jillings, June Jillings, Anne Jillings, Mr and Mrs K Hook, Bryan Bareham, Robert and Donna Hall, Pam Self, Geoff Wigg, Alison Beare.

Also attending were friends and colleagues from St Mary's Romas Catholic Primary School, former members of Lowestoft branch of the Royal Naval Auxiliary Service and staff from Westgate Cafeteria.

Betty's other grandchildren and great-grandchildren were sadly unable to travel to the funeral. Many other relatives and dear friends were also unable to attend.

The family wish to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy and beautiful floral tributes received. Special thanks to Michael and Ann for all their help they gave me at this sad time.

Will all please accept this as the only but most sincere acknowledgment.
