THE funeral service took place St Michael's Church, Oulton on Friday, March 14, followed by burial in the churchyard, for Edna May Barnes, of Burgh House Residential Home, who died on March 4, aged 89.
THE funeral service took place St Michael's Church, Oulton on Friday, March 14, followed by burial in the churchyard, for Edna May Barnes, of Burgh House Residential Home, who died on March 4, aged 89. The Rev Ron Tuck officiated, assisted by the Ven David Hyden and Canon Peter Halls.
The immediate family mourners were, Mike Barnes and Trish Moore, Ruth Daykin and Rev Tim Daykin, Simon and Nicola Daykin, Neil and Jen Daykin. With over 160 friends also in attendance.
The family wishes to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy and donations for St Michael's Repair Fund (Reserved) being accepted c/o Critoph and Crowe, 40-55 Lorne Park Road, Lowestoft NR33 0RB. Special thanks to the staff and carers at Burgh House Residential Home for their extreme care and compassion in the last few months of Edna's life. Will all please accept this as the only but most sincere acknowledgment
