THE funeral service took place at St. Edmund's Church, Kessingland, on Wednesday, February 11, for Edna May Durrant, of Kessingland, who died on January 28, aged 90.

THE funeral service took place at St. Edmund's Church, Kessingland, on Wednesday, February 11, for Edna May Durrant, of Kessingland, who died on January 28, aged 90.

The Rev Lyndy Domoney officiated.

Mourners were: Shirley and Brian Coleman, Mervyn Durrant, Jackie Green, Sara and David Coleman, Lucy and Justin Hambling, Denise and Kevyn Durrant, Mark Durrant, Elinor and Victoria Coleman, Mollie Hambling, Frances and David Bucknole, Pauline and Michael Peck, Doreen Cook, Ernie Peek, John Peek, Michael and Mary Peek, Glenda and Leslie Walpole, Mrs Sam Wicks.

Unavoidably absent were: Mr and Mrs D Anderson, Mrs J Hambling, Mrs M Goult, Jack and Sam Durrant and Charlie Hambling.

The family would like to sincerely thank all of mum's many friends and neighbours for attending the church service including friends and representatives from: Care on Call, Kessingland Working Man's Club (bingo), Eastern Coachworks Ex-Friendship Club, Atlas Taxis and Kirkley and Pakefield Football Club.

The family of the late Mrs Edna May Durrant wish to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy, the beautiful floral tributes and for donations received. Donations for Dr Drane & Partners are still being accepted c/o R Rivett Ltd, 15 Carlton Road, Lowestoft, NR33 0RU.

Special thanks to: Paramedics, Dr Sanger (Kessingland Surgery), doctors and nurses on Ward 4 at James Paget Hospital for all their care and kindness, Rev Lyndy Domoney for a lovely service and Rivett's Funeral Directors.
