THE funeral service took place at St Mary's Church, Blundeston on November 16 for Mrs Emily May Youngman, formerly of Blundeston, who died at Lound Hall Nursing Home on October 31, aged 97.

THE funeral service took place at St Mary's Church, Blundeston on November 16 for Mrs Emily May Youngman, formerly of Blundeston, who died at Lound Hall Nursing Home on October 31, aged 97.

The Rev Roger Kent officiated.

Mourners were: John and Sheila Youngman, Karen McMillan, Sim and Dan McMillan, Yvonne Youngman, Joseph, Emily-Rose and Joshua Sim, Brenda Sutton and Donny Hunt, David Howard, Audrey Lown, Joyce and Brian Gladwell, Gillian Haynes, G Bailey, J Bailey, B Durrant, J Nichols, D and B Jermy, M Jermy, D Jermy, S Alderton, P Mounser, N Gillings, P Hebditch, P Edwards, G Edwards, D Knights, J and J Blowers, C and B Shaw, I Mayes, J James, C White, J Pattison, A and J Hart, Mr and Mrs Best, Martin (also representing Lound Hall).

The family wishes to thank all friends and neighbours who attended the funeral and all who sent messages of sympathy and floral tributes. Thanks also to the Rev Roger Kent for conducting the service, and to nurses and carers at Lound Hall for looking after Emily in her final years. Our heartfelt thanks to all the village who gave Emily a nice send off.
