THE funeral service took place at Kirkley Cemetery Chapel followed by burial in Kirkley Cemetery on September 4 for Joyce Baxter of Crown Meadow Walk, who died at James Paget University Hospital on August 23, aged 78.

THE funeral service took place at Kirkley Cemetery Chapel followed by burial in Kirkley Cemetery on September 4 for Joyce Baxter of Crown Meadow Walk, who died at James Paget University Hospital on August 23, aged 78.

Father David Girling officiated.

Mourners were: Donald Baxter (husband), Linda, Michael and Adam Cook (daughter, son-in-law and grandson), Norma and Michael Overy (daughter and son-in-law also representing Shaun, Lee and Duane, grandsons), Colin Baxter (son), Doreen, Joshua and Reuben Hollebon (daughter and grandsons), Liz and Anthony Wilson (daughter and grandson), Maureen Cruttenden (sister also representing family), Keith Hitter (nephew also representing family), Jean Mobbs (sister-in-law) and Shelagh Knights, Rodney Ward (also representing Ramla, Sarah and Freya), Richard Ward (Lorelei, Rowena and Rachel), Lilian Kerry and Mandy Kenyon (goddaughter representing their family), Mollie Preston, Doreen Wilson, Irene Batchelor and Jo, Cynthia Chipperfield and James Alexander.

Unable to attend were: Muriel Nichols (sister-in-law).

The family would like to thank relatives and friends for condolences messages and floral tributes received, Father David Girling for his comforting service, the Intensive Care Unit at James Paget University Hospital for the excellent care given during Joyce's long stay and Lowestoft Town Football Social Club for their welcome and providing the food after the service.

Will all please accept this as the only but most grateful and sincere acknowledgment.

Funeral arrangements were by Anglia Co-Operative Funerals, Police Station Road, Lowestoft.
