THE funeral service took place at Kirkley Run Mission, followed by a further service at Gorleston Crematorium, for Joan Doreen Nicholls, of Lowestoft, who died on March 13, aged 83.

Pastor Keith Rains and Fr David Girling officiated.
Mourners were: Dennis Nicholls, Karen Kimber, Ken Nicholls, Pauline Nicholls, Mrs L Gardener, Alan Soar, Joy Soar, Beryl Wresford, Leanne Farmingham, Heather Soar-Burdett, Katherine Lichfield, Mr T Nicholls, Joy Nicholls, Mr and Mrs J Ward, Pauline and David Edwards, Sandra Gray, Katherine Churchman, Kathleen Hoggette and Sylvia, Brenda Boon (also representing Mrs M Rudd and the M H Team), Mr and Mrs John Ward, Peter and Joan Wall, Mick Woodhouse, Gwendoline Jones, Jenny Thompson, Dougie Field, Dan and Cheryl Keleher, Leslie and Glenda Walpole, Dennis and Shirley Bidle, Stanley Liffen, Keith and Anne Rains, Patricia Freeman, Eric and Maureen Long, May Syder, Nurse Alison and Lynn, many other friends and neighbours attended the service too numerous to mention.
Funeral arrangements were by R Rivett Ltd, 15 Carlton Road, Lowestoft, NR33 0RU.
The family of Joan Nicholls wish to thank all relatives and friends for their many kind expressions of sympathy, beautiful floral tributes and donations received.
