THE funeral service took place at St Margaret's Church, Lowestoft, and was followed by committal at Gorleston Crematorium on April 6, of Joyce Eva Tyrrell of Lowestoft, who died on March 19, aged 82.

THE funeral service took place at St Margaret's Church, Lowestoft, and was followed by committal at Gorleston Crematorium on April 6, of Joyce Eva Tyrrell of Lowestoft, who died on March 19, aged 82.

Canon John Simpson officiated.

Mourners were: David and Marion Tyrrell (son and daughter-in law), Madeline, Andrew and Simon Tyrrell (grandchildren), Roy Farman, Merrilyn Carter, Sheila Rix, Karen Mannall and Sharon Castro (also representing the Gooch family), Justine Gooch (Margaret and Alan Gooch), Pauline and Fred Burton, Mrs C Wren, Mr and Mrs N Wren, Mr and Mrs J Wright, Mr and Mrs P Field, Gerda Buckley, Marian Baldwin, Mary Lewis, Peter Boneham, Frances Clements, Jill Bartrum, Denise Boyd, Azema Butler and Christina Fox.

Unable to attend were: Mrs M Marr, Mrs M Thirkettle, Mr R Gilding, Mr and Mrs M Royle, Mr and Mrs J Smart.

The family of the late Mrs Tyrrell would like to thank all relatives, and friends for their many kind messages of sympathy and for donations already received to the Alzheimer's Society (c/o R Rivett Ltd, 15 Carlton Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR33 0RU). Special thanks to all staff of Lavender Cottage for Joyce's care over the past four years.
