THE funeral service took place at Kirkley Run Mission followed by the interment at Kirkley Cemetery on Friday, May 22, for Mrs Jessie May Knights, formerly of Plovers Way, who died on May 10, aged 85.

Pastor Keith Rains officiated.

Mourners were: Mr R Knights and Mrs J Butters, Mr A Knights, Mrs L Knights Hume, Mr N Hume and Master N Hume, Miss K Butters and Mr K Mackenzie, Mr A Butters and Miss L Millar, Mrs C Knights, Mr and Mrs R Howes, Mr and Mrs G Crane, Mrs B Gatenby, Mrs C Slater, Mrs T Bunn, Mrs G Morton, Mrs J Hayes, Mr Fred Kettless, Mrs Jean Gower, Mrs Julie Taylor, Mrs Heather Watson, Mrs Eve Crisp, Mr and Mrs D Crisp, Mr and Mrs G Gower, Mr and Mrs M Palmer, Mr and Mrs D Jacobs, Mrs M Long and friends from the mission

Unavoidably absent were: Mrs A Knights, Mr G Butters, Mr A Sutton and Mrs A Richardson, Mr F Baines Holmes.

The family of the late Mrs Knights wish to thank all relatives and friends for their many kind expressions of sympathy, beautiful floral tributes and donations, which are still being accepted towards a garden bench and gazebo for Hildesley Court Sheltered Accommodation by a cheque made payable to Hildesley Court Residents Social Club, c/o R Rivett Ltd., 15 Carlton Road, Lowestoft, NR33 0RU.

Special thanks to Ann and Alan for their dedicated care, support and friendship over many years and the neighbours at Plovers Way.
