THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium, on May 9, for Joan Olive Solomon, formerly of Lowestoft, who died on April 27, aged 85.

The Rev Mark McCaghrey officiated.

Mourners were, Rita Warren (daughter), Raymond and Tracey Soloman (son and daughter-in-law), Laura and Jason Oliver (granddaughter and husband), Wesley and Bradley Soloman (grandsons), Isaac and Barbara Soloman, John and Ann Rix, Barry Rix, Hazel Reynolds, Alan and Jane Catchpole, Mary Draper, Ethel and Carol Stone, Ivy Vann and Kelly, Diane Hall, Sylvia and Angela, Sandra and Ivan Wigg, Ivan Warren, Maureen Blaza and Jennifer, Alan and Matthew Sant, Stephanie Fokinther, Doris, Marion, Ann Lounds.

The family of the late Mrs Joan Soloman would like to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy, beautiful floral tributes and donations received. Donations to The Stroke Association are still being accepted c/o Powell's Funeral Directors Ltd, 221 St Peter's Street, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR32 2LT. Special thanks to all the staff who cared for Joan over then past 14 months.
