THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium, on July 17, for Kathleen Girling of Crestview Drive, Lowestoft, who died peacefully on July 4, aged 82.

THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium, on July 17, for Kathleen Girling of Crestview Drive, Lowestoft, who died peacefully on July 4, aged 82.

The Rev J Simpson officiated.

Mourners were: Mr C Girling (husband), Sandra and Alan Cooper (daughter and son-in-law), Susan and Peter Down (daughter and son-in-law), Nicola, Robert, Christopher, Sarah and Steven (grandchildren) and partners Mathew, Denise, Adam And Donna. Rose And Alan Girling, Sylvia And Cedric Smith, Cynthia and Kenny Borrett, Michael and Ann Girling (brothers and sister-in-laws), Steven and Shelly Girling (nephew and partner), Irene (cousin), Terry and Julie, friends Keith Chase, Jasmine Wright, Mrs P Fyvie, Danny and Glynis Castleton, Maureen and Malcolm Down, Linda, Roy and Clare Down, Rene Wicks, Tracey Church, Jill Martin, Ivan and Iris Baldry, Karen, Ruth, Jenny, Jackie, Kathleen, Jo, Davina and Vicky (One to One carers).

Floral tributes: Kathleen you gave me 59 very good years of which I will never forget, lots of love Cecil. To mum free from suffering, god bless, love Sandra and Alan. Dear mum no words can say how much you will be missed, thank you for being a wonderful mum and nanny who taught me so many things (knit1, purl1), sleep peacefully, love you forever, Sue and Pete. To nanny you will always be in our thoughts, lots of love Matt, Nickki, Daisy, Robert and Chloe. Dear nanny we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful loving nanny than you, your amazing cooking, soft cuddles, watching old movies together, so many memories we will cherish forever, love you so much, grandchildren Sarah and Adam, Chris and Denise, Stevie and Donna. To a dear great grandma you had the best cuddles in the world, love and miss you so much, great grandchildren Alice, Alfie, Vincent and Bumps x 2.

Mr Girling and daughters would like to thank all relatives and friends for their many kind expressions of sympathy, floral tributes and donations, Rev J Simpson for his moving service and special thanks to the wonderful team of carers at One to One.
