THE funeral service took place at St Michael's Church, Oulton, followed by the interment in the churchyard, for Maureen Annie Cooke, of Oulton Broad, who died on March 4, aged 84.
The Rev Robin Pritchard and Rev Val Burgess officiated.
Mourners were: Malcolm and Anne Cooke, Andy and Jane Cooke, Glenn and Gerry Doy, Richard, Victoria, Jason, James and Jennie, Nathan and Nicky. The church overflowed with many more relations and friends too numerous to mention.
Special thanks to staff at the JPH, Rev Robin Pritchard and the moving address given by Val Burgess. Thanks to R Rivett Ltd for all their kindness. Thanks for all the donations to the Air Ambulance. Please accept this as the only, but most sincere, acknowledgment. Unfortunately Maureen will not be entering the carnival this year!
