THE funeral service took place at St Mark's Church, Oulton Broad, followed by the interment in Caister Borough Cemetery, on Friday, April 18, for Margaret Jane Simnett, of Oulton Broad, who died on April 8, aged 85.

The Rev Ian Bentley officiated.

Mourners were: Mr and Mrs Mel Oakes, Mr and Mrs Mark Oakes, Mr and Mrs Chris Morely, Craig Oakes, Matthew Oakes, Ryan Oakes, Troy Morley, Mr T Moore, Mrs L Prior, Mr A Freeman and Su Kettle, Mr M Freeman, Mr G Freeman, Kim Freeman, Mrs M Oakes, Mr and Mrs G Rayner, Mr and Mrs G Gower, Mrs S Morton, Mrs K Bunn, Mr and Mrs D Almond, Mr and Mrs M Scott, Mr and Mrs C Shorten, Mr and Mrs B Gale, Mrs M Crossland, Mrs J Palmer (also representing Oulton Court), Mrs B Dell (Oulton Happy Circle Club), Jean Brown and Melanie Horne (Lound Nursing Home).

Unavoidably absent were: Mrs C Johnson (sister) and Mrs P Moore (sister-in-law).

The family of Mrs Margaret Simnett wish to thank all relatives and friends for their many kind expressions of sympathy and for the beautiful floral tributes received Special thanks to Mark and Caroline, Sharon and Chris, Craig, Matthew, Ryan and our lovely little Troy for their support to Peggy in the last few weeks at Lound Hall, Rev Bentley for his lovely service, Dr Kerry for all his care, Victoria Hotel for the refreshments, Rivett's funeral directors for all their special support to us and to everyone at Lound Hall who looked after Peggy with all their care and love, thank you.
