THE funeral service took place at St Marks Church, Oulton Broad on November 6, followed by burial in Kirkley Cemetery for Peggy Curry who died on October 23, aged 86.

THE funeral service took place at St Marks Church, Oulton Broad on November 6, followed by burial in Kirkley Cemetery for Peggy Curry who died on October 23, aged 86.

The Rev Ian Bentley officiated.

Mourners were: Thelma and Nigel Peek, Jenny Evans, Charmain and Paul Shreeve, Georgia and Jack Shreeve, Debbie, Jason and Harriet Peek, Joe and Sam Evans, Becky and Gareth Richards, Margaret and Stephen Dowson, Pat and Rod Cole, June and Philip Nichols, Jean Skazik, Sylvia and Ray Alexander, Margaret Thacker, Joy Chase, Jill Wickham, Gill Smith, June and Jimmy Shreeve, Angela Spooner, Mr and Mrs Knobbs, Mrs Bloomfield, Mrs J Smith, Bonnie and Graham Head, Sue Reeve, Sheila Bell and Linda Tonks and Marie Pull and Jan Burgess (Stradbroke Court Day Centre).

The family's thoughts are with all those who were unavoidably absent.

The family wish to thank everyone for their kind expressions and beautiful floral tributes and messages.

Special thanks to Dr Gomez and all the staff on ward 16 for making Peggy's last few days so very comfortable. Also a big thank you to Stradbroke Court for the loving care shown to Peggy in the day centre, East Point and in the residential home.

Thank you to the Rev Ian Bentley for making the service so special.
