THE funeral service took place at St Edmunds Church, Kessingland on Tuesday, January 15, followed by cremation at Gorleston Crematorium for Tina Towers of Belvedere Drive, Kessingland, who lost her battle against cancer on December 31, aged 50.

THE funeral service took place at St Edmunds Church, Kessingland on Tuesday, January 15, followed by cremation at Gorleston Crematorium for Tina Towers of Belvedere Drive, Kessingland, who lost her battle against cancer on December 31, aged 50.

The Rev Canon Lyndy Domoney and Rev Joan Oddy officiated.

Wife, soulmate and best friend of loving husband Roger.

The family would like to thank all family, friends and work colleagues who attended the packed church and all who will miss her ready smile, comforting words and sense of humour, for their flowers, donations and support.

The family would also like to thank all doctors and staff at the Sandra Chapman Centre at James Paget University Hospital, Dr Sangar plus all at Field Lane Surgery, local district nurses and paramedics for their kindness, compassion and professionalism for making Tina's final week as comfortable as possible.

Special thanks to Mr Graeme Franks and all at Anglia Co-Operative Funerals for their patience and understanding.

Donations in memory of Tina for JPUH NHS Foundation Trust are still being collected by Anglia Co-Operative Funerals, Police Station Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR32 1NY.
