THE funeral service took place at Kirkley Cemetery Chapel followed by a burial in the cemetery on September 8 for Valerie Moore of Lowestoft who died on August 29 aged 66.

THE funeral service took place at Kirkley Cemetery Chapel followed by a burial in the cemetery on September 8 for Valerie Moore of Lowestoft who died on August 29 aged 66.

Father David Girling officiated.

Mourners were: Herbie Moore (husband), Alec and Helena Moore (son and daughter-in-law), Jane and David Aldred (daughter and son-in-law), Lee and Chloe Gillyeat and partner, Lisa and Tony Moore and partners, Lauren and Sabrina Moore (grandchildren), Bob and Gwen Waters and children (brother and sister-in-law), Mike Waters (brother), Ben, Adam, Scott and Phil (step-grandchildren), Marlene Chilvers, Julie and Kevin Goldspink, Joyce Cooper, Tina Swan, Susan Porter, Brian Pawlett, Judith and Ray Garner, Jean Hibbert, Karen Fox, Christine and Richard Bagge, Paul Gillyeat, Pamela Boakes, Irene Saunders, Shawn and Shelle Ashman, Tina Wells.

Floral tributes were: You never said “I'm leaving” you never said goodbye you were gone before I knew it, and only God knew why, a million times I needed you, a million times I cried if love alone could have saved you, you never would have died, in life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still in my heart you hold a place, that no one could ever fill, it broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone for part of me went with you, the day God took you home, goodnight sweetheart your loving husband Herbie. Forever in our hearts everyone has their time but why did yours have to come so soon? there are so many people in the world, so why did God have to pick you? they say things like this make you stronger but how can that be? I feel so weak inside it all feels like a dream, I didn't get to see you, you passed away to soon, but I feel you watching over me and someday I'll see you again, goodnight God bless; Jane and David.
