Motorcycle stolen from home by mystery masked man

A motorcycle was stolen from the driveway of a home early on a Sunday morning.

Suffolk Police have appealed for witnesses after the theft from Long Road, Carlton Colville at around 6.43am on August 16.

A white Aprilia SR 50 scooter-style motorcycle, registration LF16 ZWD, was reported stolen, with a man seen walking away with the bike.

The man was wearing light-coloured tracksuit bottoms, a hooded top with the hood over his head, and a mask covering the rest of his face.

He was seen meeting another man, of slim build with dark hair and wearing a navy, red and white top, further along Long Road.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said: “The pair then pushed the motorcycle off the alleyway at the bottom of Long Road and into some bushes after they were spotted by the witness.”

Officers have urged anyone who saw the men, or who has information about the incident, to contact Suffolk Police on 101, quoting reference 37/48996/20.
