More comfortable ambulances will be on the road in this region in a few days' time.
The 50 new ambulance vehicles include a new interior design which will be more comfortable for patients. And for the first time they will allow crews to stand upright in the back, which will improve comfort and their ability to move around and treat patients. They are the first batch of 160 new vehicles which the East of England Ambulance is bringing in over the next two years.
