First Eastern Counties have announced that they will operate a new return journey on a popular bus service.

As a result of changes to other buses in the area, the company will run a new weekday morning journey on the 99 service between Lowestoft, Pakefield and Kessingland.

Starting from Monday, November 13, the journey will leave Lowestoft bus station at 0635, pick up in Pakefield at 0645 and arrive in Kessingland at 0657.

The return journey, which will be of value to commuters working in the town and further afield, will depart from Kessingland at 0700, call via Pakefield at 0715 and arrive in Lowestoft at 0730.

It is hoped that these particular timings will provide a simple connection with the X1 service, which departs the bus station at 0740 and goes towards to James Paget Hospital, Gorleston and Gt Yarmouth.
