As the region's tourist attractions prepare for the first influx of visitors for 2010, a new face is getting ready to take control at Pleasurewood Hills theme park.
Alexis Camelin, the new general manager at the theme park between great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, has spent the past month on site making sure that the attraction is ready to open for visitors on Friday.
Mr Camelin is originally from Grenoble in France and has worked in the leisure and hospitality industry in the UK for the past 15 years.
He said: 'I am very excited to be here and to have the opportunity to do so much. All of our rides have been taken apart over the winter to be checked and repaired where needed.
'The aim for my first season in charge is to improve the overall experience for our visitors. We only have one shot to impress so it's important that people leave with good memories.'
Mr Camelin, who has just moved to the area with his wife and children, added: 'I think coming in with a new pair of eyes has been really good for the park.
