A series of “dramatic photographs” interspersed with poems and prose feature in a new quotes trail, which has been unveiled in Kessingland.

The unique, understated and undiscovered natural beauty of Kessingland Beach has been captured by photographer Jan Gordon. In celebration of its seafaring history, each image is supported by poems or prose inspired by the sea.

With 15 photographs in total, residents and visitors are encouraged to follow the trail and appreciate the photographs depicting the beach.

A Kessingland Parish Council spokesman said: “This is one of our initiatives for promoting the arts and culture in Kessingland. We are delighted to be supporting the 2017 quotes trail, highlighting a series of photographs and accompanying quotes posted up on the Kessingland Beach railings by Roys Garden – opposite the Sailors Home Public House – in Church Road, Kessingland.”
