New team of sergeants in Lowestoft
THREE new sergeants have taken up key posts in Safer Neighbourhood Teams across Lowestoft.With anti-social behaviour and a recent high-profile spate of burglaries key priorities for the sergeants, they made a rallying call to the community to come forward and let police know what the 'problem areas' are in their neighbourhoods.
THREE new sergeants have taken up key posts in Safer Neighbourhood Teams across Lowestoft.
With anti-social behaviour and a recent high-profile spate of burglaries key priorities for the sergeants, they made a rallying call to the community to come forward and let police know what the 'problem areas' are in their neighbourhoods.
Angie Egmore, Andy Green and Penny Jones have taken up posts at the Central, North and South SNT's following the retirements of Sgt Bernie Guymer and Sgt Derrick Stone.
Sgt Angie Egmore will join Sgt Steve Wright, who remains as a second sergeant for Lowestoft Central as this SNT area covers the Harbour and Kirkley wards and includes police officers, police community support officers, special constables and police support volunteers.

The Lowestoft North SNT covering the Oulton, Lothingland, Gunton and Corton, Oulton Broad, Normanston and St Margarets wards, has been boosted by Sgt Andy Green.
Leading the Lowestoft South Team is Sgt Penny Jones, whose beat covers the wards of Carlton Colville, Kessingland, Gisleham, Pakefield, Carlton and Whitton.
