With anti-social behaviour and a recent high-profile spate of burglaries key priorities for the sergeants, they made a rallying call to the community to come forward and let police know what the 'problem areas' are in their neighbourhoods.

Angie Egmore, Andy Green and Penny Jones have taken up posts at the Central, North and South SNT's following the retirements of Sgt Bernie Guymer and Sgt Derrick Stone.

The Lowestoft North SNT covering the Oulton, Lothingland, Gunton and Corton, Oulton Broad, Normanston and St Margarets wards, has been boosted by Sgt Andy Green.

Leading the Lowestoft South Team is Sgt Penny Jones, whose beat covers the wards of Carlton Colville, Kessingland, Gisleham, Pakefield, Carlton and Whitton.
