A new website has been launched for Lowestoft Rising – an organisation that features a number of partners who are working together to improve the way the public and voluntary sectors operate for Lowestoft.
Lowestoft Rising aims to create a significantly improved quality of life for everybody growing up, living in, working in, visiting and investing in the town.
Lowestoft Rising is an organisation comprising a number of public sector partners including Suffolk Police, Suffolk Police and Crime Commissioner's office, Waveney District Council, Suffolk County Council and Health East. With five key work-streams – aspiration and attainment, infrastructure, integration, drug and alcohol intervention and pride in Lowestoft – celebrating all that the town has to offer, the new website – www.lowestoftrising.co.uk – features the latest news from each work-stream and highlights ongoing projects and recent successes around Lowestoft, such as work inspiration events, Beat the Street and the Lowestoft Summer Festival.
The website is supported by a Twitter feed www.twitter.com/lowestoftrising promoting Lowestoft-specific news and events.
