POLICE are appealing for help in tracing the next-of-kin of an 81-year-old woman who died at her home in Wenhaston in the past few days.

Alethea Nunns, who was known as Anita, was found at her home in Narrow Way on Monday January 21, after a concerned friend reported she had not been seen as usual.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death, but initial enquiries have not been able to trace her next-of-kin. It's known that her husband died around ten years ago and she is believed to have outlived her brothers, so there are currently no known relatives.

Officers are asking anyone with information about Mrs Nunns' next of kin to call the coroners officer on 01986 835167.
