The club has been busy over the last few months with a garden party a trip to Priory Maze Gardens and Wroxham Barns. Members have had meetings at St Marks Church on different subjects which were interesting, especially when two members, Iris and Margaret, spoke on when they were evacuated to Derbyshire.

The club has been busy over the last few months with a garden party a trip to Priory Maze Gardens and Wroxham Barns. Members have had meetings at St Marks Church on different subjects which were interesting, especially when two members, Iris and Margaret, spoke on when they were evacuated to Derbyshire. On October 8 members had an anniversary lunch at Victoria Hotel which was enjoyed by all. The next meeting is on October 20 at the BT Club in Clapham Road and is the harvest sale so homemade produce required. The meetings for November will be held at the BT Club owing to the fact that the group can no longer use Lowestoft Hospital for the foreseeable future. The meeting start at 10.15am and is open to any retired members of the NHS.
