Norwich airport offers Xmas in Tenerife

Holidaymakers are being offered the opportunity to swap a chilly Norfolk winter for sunny Tenerife with the announcement of new flights from Norwich International Airport.

Holidaymakers are being offered the opportunity to swap a chilly Norfolk winter for sunny Tenerife with the announcement of new flights from Norwich International Airport.

The airport has teamed up with Teleticket Holidays to offer holidaymakers ATOL bonded holidays to Tenerife this festive season. There are two direct flights on offer from the airport on Saturday, December 19 and Saturday, December 26. Both dates offer a seven night holiday.

Elliott Summers, the airport's managing director, said: “Tenerife is in the top three most popular destinations as indicated by our destinations survey and we are delighted to be offering our local passengers exactly what they have asked for.”

The flights are both in a 186-seat B737-800. The first will take off from Norwich at 10pm on December 19, returning to Norwich at 7pm on December 26.

The second will jet off at 8pm on Boxing Day and return to Norwich at 9pm on January 2.
