SAFER Neighbourhood Teams will be out in force next week, staging street briefings and community consultation events. The following events will be held in Waveney:
Today: Southwold and Halesworth SNT's mobile police station teams up with Suffolk County Council's mobile library, at Wrentham, Wangford and Reydon, 9.30am-12.50pm; Lowestoft South SNT, police street meet at Anchor Way, 9am-10am, and at Rushton Drive, 1pm-2pm.
Tomorrow: Lowestoft South SNT police surgery at Kessingland Police Station, 5pm-6pm; Lowestoft North and Lowestoft South SNT is taking part in the community beach football world cup event on South Beach, Lowestoft, below Kensington Gardens, 11am-3pm, for National Family Week. Lowestoft South SNT will be at the Pakefield Park opening day, 2pm-4.30pm.
Sunday: Southwold and Halesworth SNT, police street meet at Southwold Harbour and Walberswick, 11am-2pm.
Monday, Lowestoft North SNT's mobile police station will be at Corton playing field,10am-11am and Lound Village Hall, 11.30am-12.30pm.
Thursday, Lowestoft Central SNT police surgery at the Kirkley Centre, noon-2pm.
Residents and representatives from local businesses are invited to meet their SNT, have an informal chat and discuss needs, concerns and expectations.
