Sunday services - On Sunday at St Mark's Church, Bridge Road there will be a service of holy communion at 10.10am with Mark II meeting in the church centre at the same time.
Sunday services - On Sunday at St Mark's Church, Bridge Road there will be a service of holy communion at 10.10am with Mark II meeting in the church centre at the same time. At 6pm there will be an Ascension evensong. Services during the week are: Holy communion on Wednesday, Thursday (Ascension Day) and Friday at 9.30am and morning prayer on Monday and Tuesday at 9.30am. St Luke's Church, Homefield Avenue will be holding a service of morning worship at 9.30am on Sunday.
Signing choir concert - On Sunday at 3pm in St Mark's Church there will be a concert consisting of popular music performed and signed by the Lowestoft Signing Choir and the Warren School Signing Club, both led by Liz Bloice, the 1st Oulton Broad Beaver Colony led by Richard Cooke and the singing group Patchwork led by Joanne Knight. Joanne will also contribute two vocal solos. Admission is free with a retiring silver collection and money raised will be divided between the Lowestoft Signing Choir and the fund for the restoration of St Mark's Church organ.
Wives' Group - Mrs S Howlett will be talking about the world of shells at the next meeting of St Mark's Wives' Group on Monday at the church centre at 7.30pm.
Open House - On Wednesday Open House is at St Mark's Church Centre from 10 to 11.30am where you will find bargain buys, books, Traidcraft and other stalls as well as partaking of tea, coffee and a chat.
