The August 19 meeting was the appraisal from water project. A wide variety of pictures depicting water in its many forms were brought in for the appraisal.

The August 19 meeting was the appraisal from water project. A wide variety of pictures depicting water in its many forms were brought in for the appraisal. David Balder organised the paintings to be seen and discussed by members. Water was interpreted in many forms. Seascapes, seashore, waves seen in South Africa, streams, and the Broads, all portrayed in every medium. A most unusual painting by Pat Howell depicted a figure taking a shower.
