A popular festive tradition will return this weekend as carols will be sung around the Christmas tree.

Oulton Broad Parish Council and the Friends of Nicholas Everitt Park (FONEP) have organised the annual carols around the Christmas tree event.

With crowds flocking to the Christmas tree on The Boulevard in Bridge Road, Oulton Broad festive fun for all the family will entertain all from 1pm to 4.30pm this

Sunday, December 1.

There will also be craft stalls, a tombola and lucky dip, a visit from Santa, mulled wine, hot roasted chestnuts and mince pies available, with the carol service commencing at 3.30pm.

A spokesman said: "This is an open air event, so come prepared with a torch and warm clothing."
