Jean Pattison welcomed members of Oulton Broad Ladies Evening Club for the June meeting. Reports were given on the arts and craft section, who are busy making items for the charity fair and the social studies group enjoyed a meal at the Waveney. The stroller group are enjoying their walks and a coffee morning was well attended at Wendy's home. The speaker was Tim Jenkins, superintendent of the Fisherman's Mission who works tirelessly for the fishermen, their children and the widows of seafarers, not only in Lowestoft, but further afield. The next meeting is on July 2, when the talk will be on police firearms. Visitors welcome.
