Forty-five members enjoyed a ploughman's lunch before the AGM, which was attended by 47 members. Chairman, Beryl Caplen, read her report of last year's activities and thanked the committee and members who had helped with the events.

Forty-five members enjoyed a ploughman's lunch before the AGM, which was attended by 47 members. Chairman, Beryl Caplen, read her report of last year's activities and thanked the committee and members who had helped with the events. The local Deaf Association was voted as the club's chosen charity for the coming year. Four birthday posies were presented. The new chairman is Pat Lincoln and vice-chairman Beryl Caplen. Eunice Spinder is secretary and Barbara Badger remains as treasurer. The afternoon ended with bingo, refreshments and a raffle. The next meeting is on May 14.
