This Saturday, the parish social and fund-raising committee have organised a musical supper evening at the Stella Maris Hall, commencing with light refreshments after the 5pm evening mass. Admission is �4, (�3 children under 12). Mass times for this Sunday, the third of Easter, are 9am at St Nicholas, Morton Road, South Lowestoft and at Our Lady Star of the Sea, Gordon Road, 5pm (first mass) and 10.30am. Parishioners are advised to check the notice-boards for new posters advertising forthcoming events in the East Anglia Diocese. The Diocesan pilgrimage to Walsingham is on May Bank Holiday Monday and a seat on the coach departing Gordon Road at 9.30am can be booked for this. Other coach trips advertised include a free coach trip to Poringland to hear the former Bishop of East Anglia speak on his pro-life vision for the country at the East Anglia Region LIFE conference on Saturday, June 6. There is also the poster advertising details of the three-day pilgrimage trip to Boulogne from August 22 to 24 for parishioners and friends. Early bookings are advised for these outings.
