Mass times for Sunday are 9am at St Nicholas, Morton Road, South Lowestoft and at Our Lady Star of the Sea, Gordon Road, 5pm (first mass) and 10.30am. The mass for the solemnity of St George is at St Nicholas Church at 10am on Thursday.

Mass times for Sunday are 9am at St Nicholas, Morton Road, South Lowestoft and at Our Lady Star of the Sea, Gordon Road, 5pm (first mass) and 10.30am. The mass for the solemnity of St George is at St Nicholas Church at 10am on Thursday. Next Saturday, the parish social and fundraising committee have organised a musical supper evening at the Stella Maris Hall commencing with light refreshments after the 5pm evening mass. The finger buffet commences at 6.30pm and the performance of light, classical and contemporary music by young musicians begins at 7.15pm. Tickets £4, (£3 children under 12) for the event are on sale after masses this weekend. Parishioners are asked to check the noticeboards for new posters advertising forthcoming events in the East Anglia Diocese. The diocesan pilgrimage to Walsingham is on May bank holiday Monday and a seat on the coach departing Gordon Road at 9.30am can now be booked for this and other coach trips advertised. Last week's £25 winner of the Knights Good Causes draw was Freda Brooks.
