The sum of £73.0 was raised for Christian Aid from the attendance at the ecumenical soup lunch and Taize presentation organised by Christians Together last Monday.

The sum of £73.0 was raised for Christian Aid from the attendance at the ecumenical soup lunch and Taize presentation organised by Christians Together last Monday. Mass times for this Sunday, Passion (Palm) Sunday, are 9am at St Nicholas, Morton Road, South Lowestoft and at Our Lady Star of the Sea, Gordon Road, 5pm (first mass) and 10.30am with processions on Sunday commencing in the church halls. The services of Holy Week include the Sacred Triduum at Our Lady Star of the Sea as follows: Maundy Thursday 7.30pm mass of the Last Supper with washing of the feet, re-commissioning of lay eucharistic ministers and watching until 10 pm before the Altar of Repose. The Good Friday service is at 3pm and the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday at 8pm starts with the blessing of the Easter candle in the Stella Maris Hall. The Easter services of Christians Together this year commence with the Walk of Witness on Good Friday from the Salvation Army Citadel, Beach Road at 10.15am to a united service at the URC, London Road North at 11am and the Sunrise Service at Ness Point at 6am on Easter Sunday.
