Mass times for this Sunday, the fourth of Easter, “good shepherd” Sunday, are 9am at St Nicholas, Morton Road, South Lowestoft and at Our Lady Star of the Sea, Gordon Road, 5pm (first mass) and 10.30am. Parishioners are advised to check the notice-boards for posters advertising forthcoming events in the East Anglia Diocese. Final bookings can be made this weekend for the coach to the diocesan pilgrimage to Walsingham on Monday (May bank holiday). It departs Gordon Road at 9.30am picking up at bus stops en route at Kirkley, Pakefield and Carlton Colville. There is a free coach trip to Poringland to hear the former Bishop of East Anglia, the most Rev Peter Smith now Archbishop of Cardiff, speak on his pro-life vision for the country at the Life East Anglia conference and details of the three day pilgrimage trip to Boulogne from August 22 to 24, for parishioners and friends.
